Maximizing square footage by creating multipurpose spaces, separated by changes in the roof.
Creating a garden that is inspiring and provides shade as well as sunlight; with seating, dining areas as well as a garden kitchen, a water feature and a fireplace.
Placing windows in places where the light and sight create a moment for the viewer, while not disrupting privacy.
Utilizing the sloping roofs to collect rain water, one which goes directly into the entrance hanging plants; another one that goes into a tank in the garage which can be used to wash the car or to water the kitchen garden.
Storage for more than 500 books and plenty or extra storage space.
